Good one Caj...
But where were you with that bit of wisdom last Tuesday night? That would have been when I sliced the tip of my left thumb {damn near off}. Just chopping vegetables prepping dinner and lost that argument with a very sharp knife.
Finally got the bleeding stopped {well most of it anyway} and wrapped it up but Wednesday morning I was off to the ER for 3 hours, one spent soaking in a bowl of surgical soap and ultimately 4 sutures which I hope will be removed this Thursday. Damn that stung!

Looking back, I've done plenty of stupid things over the last 50 years. They didn't seem that stupid at the time.
