Somewhere around here, I have one. I bought it in a booth at Sturgis about 30 years ago. It is amazing the things a pretty girl can talk a guy into. You might even be tempted to tip a gal five bucks for lighting your cigar for you.
Mine is made of aluminum, and can be expected to have a limited service life, I was told. It cost five or ten bucks. I resisted the temptation to buy the more durable professional model made of stainless for about fifty bucks. Just as well. I have not used it enough over the years to wear it out or to justify the cost of the pro model.
On a couple of occasions, I have dragged it out and used it to wire a couple of things together. My wire coils never seemed as neat as they were demonstrated to be. I don’t think of it often, if at all.
