Default Protests

These pantywaist lightweight little peckerwoods "protesting" now with their supplied Northface tents, strobe lights, masks and demands to be supplied with gluten free and vegan friendly food along with bottled water could not hold a candle to the protests they had back in the 60's. Back then they KNEW what we were protesting about and knew they were facing severe consequences. But agree or disagree, they were doing it for a heartfelt concern for America over an issue that they were well informed with.

Today, they are out there as mindless cattle being driven by puppet masters that are running an anti American Agenda. They have NO IDEA WHY THEY ARE OUT THERE. And they know that there will be no consequences.
Try that **** in Louisiana and see what the consequences are.

Bunch of spoiled brats. Last group of 18 year olds whose opinions on matters of importance I would have cared about were on Omaha Beach on June 6, 1944.

Hats off to the LE community who are showing professionalism in their handling of these protesters. There will be no "Rodney King" episode this time around to spark further unrest. The sponsors of this movement are well known to the US Government and they are funding this as part of their progressive agenda.

My understanding is everyone in the US has a right to "Demonstrate" for or against anything. Officials are required by our Constitution and laws to accept out demands. (Here in Central Ohio, they even did what the demonstrators wanted: Proclamations to stop fighting in the Middle East) But then they won't go away after they got what they wanted.

No town council, college board of regents, Police chief, or dog walker in the United States of America has the ability to FORCE our will on another country!

I believe most of this is an effort to be seen for matters of personal gain! Even if it is only to score with the "movement's" members of the opposite sex. Or possibly a future leadership position in that community.

OK we heard you. Get up, go home, and get of my lawn! You have won all there is we can do for you!

Ivan

Defund any university/college receiving taxpayer money and allowing this to go on. Protests OVER.

Make sure everyone arrested has a “record” following them through life.

Simply shut down all cell service to the area till they disperse and it would be all over in 5 minutes.

I certainly would not allow the delivery of food. On the water part, a few agricultural sprinklers on the perimeter hooked up to fire hydrants would keep them from getting thirsty

UNC, Chapel Hill is closing the portion of the campus where the recent protests and fighting had taken place. The P.D. appears to have been very low key, until a Econ. professor took a swing at one of the cops. Next thing that bimbo knew she was kissing the concrete.

In 1972, I took part in an anti war protest in NY's Central Park. I left when I saw a North Vietnamese flag on the stage. Nothing has changed, destroy America has always been the goal..

No one is burning buildings and there's only been limited pushing and shoving. These protests are nothing at all compared to Civil Rights and Vietnam War protests. Not even close.

I am anti war. But, a country has a right to protect themselves as do people. When your the one who makes the initial attack I haven't got much sympathy for you. It isn't like you can just go arrest the perpetrators of wars.

Don't even start on the "United Nations".

They have been killing each other and negotiating seize fires and peace in that region for well over a 1000 years all over who believes what of the same deity. Nothing changes except the cost in lives and dollars.

The Holy Land is much more a Bloody Land

I fail to believe any protests or actions by our country are going to actually change anything.

The deaths of about 5 million people during the Crusades accomplished zilch. What makes anyone think they can fix it after another 800 years of hatred and bloodshed?

The right or wrong doesn't really come into play when it all there is centuries of pure hatred.

Peaceful protest is a right protected by the USC. Violent protest and the destruction of property is not protected. If these people are citizens, they should know better, but should be arrested and charged for the crime committed. If they are not citizens, but here on a Student or other Visas, they should be arrested and deported.

Shame on the colleges. They have fostered this Anti American and "you know what", ideology for several decades now. Many of those protesters were hired and paid to disrupt and agitate, while others were dumb enough to follow.
The colleges have cut their own throats as they have lost much of their prestige by this outrage. It will take them years to get to normal, if they ever do.

Many of those "students" are the Rent-a-mob types that afflict many western societies. I have to laugh when they get all bent out of shape about local LE being called onto college property like it's some hallowed ground or some such.

Peaceful protest does not involve preventing others going about their lawful business or smashing your way into to locked buildings. At that point you've crossed the line.

I have been listening to many sound bites in the news since this started, some truly cringeworthy. Death to Israel, Death to America, etc., etc., etc. But my favorite so far is a whiny brat screaming as she's getting hauled off "Can I go home I have finals"...priceless. 10 bucks says she had green hair and lip piercings.

When I was in college by the time I got done attending class, studying and working the night shift to pay for the experience, I didn't have time to tell my elders how to run the world.

I see shades of Kent State. I haven't heard any mention of firearms but all it would take is one loose wing nut. At least Kent State knew what they were protesting. I doubt many of the current bunch could locate Palestine or Israel on a map.

What should be required reading/watching for these people:
The Diary of Anne Frank
Night by Elie Wiesel
Schindler's List

There are more, but these will do for a start.

I am laughing my butt off, watching these 2 bit punks get taken down. Saw some 12ga. rubber bullets being fired at close range. Tear gas, pepper spray. One Georgia State Trooper just picks up this cuffed soy boy and hauls him off, "you're hurting me, owww"! Looks like many are not students, but BLM paid protesters. Keep poking the bear.

As much as I’d love to bash the entitled, soft, basically pathetic students and their lefty schools. These are 90% professional protesters being paid by people like Soros. Up to $3k per week for their efforts. I watched a video a young Jewish man shot at UCLA. 4 protestors of which 3 were woman and all with head coverings blocked his entrance into the school of which he is a student paying a lot of money to attend. I thought to myself, that’s where I’d get myself in trouble. But I’d take great pleasure in it.

IMHO, anyone who says they are hamas at these rallies, or that say they support them, should be shipped over there to see exactly how they treat their people. One way ticket, no returns.

These "protestors" are not kids, they are adults and should be treated as such. If they don't know what they are protesting about that's on them...

Several think tanks have been following the money trail that provides tents and professionally printed signs for the protesters who are not all students.

The money doesn't appear to be coming out of Junior's allowance or kegger fund.

Well what happens when this goes from law enforcement to the judicial process. A "rogue''DA or judge could undo all the cops and the college administration did.

I saw this happen in Albany NY a few years ago.(The Wall Street Protests) The DA was letting them go wholesale. Talk about revolving door "justice"

What are they protesting? Could it be that the Palestinians want some of their lands back and believe that they have been forgotten for decades? Until the root cause of the problem is identified, the problem will remain. A two state solution is not acceptable to the current leaders of Israel. Remember, even the thinnest pancake has two sides. I recall that the American Indians weren’t real happy about getting kicked off of their lands as well. Today they are sovereign nations.

I saw this happen in Albany NY a few years ago.(The Wall Street Protests) The DA was letting them go wholesale. Talk about revolving door "justice"
Can't wait to see what happens in Chapel Hill. Some members of the Chapel Hill town council have already demanded that all charges be dropped against those who trespassed, destroyed property, engaged in disorderly conduct and obstructed law enforcement officers during their recent temper tantrums.

The university faculty council is up in arms because the interim chancellor took action when the little darlings took down the United States flag and replaced it with the Palestinian flag. They said NOTHING about the useful idiots desecrating the US Flag, they were only upset about taking down the foreign flag and appearing on the steps of the admin building with law enforcement. Make me wonder how our tax money is being spent.

Well, I have not seen any proof that universities have anything to do with the Palestinian issue. The useful idiots demand that the universities divest any holdings in Israel. Does anyone think that the university officials are specifically investing there? No, they have fund managers who are putting money where it will produce the most return.

Rioting, occupying buildings, desecrating the American Flag will have zero effect on what is going on on the opposite side of the world.

I know a number of Jordanian-Palestinians who left what is now the West Bank when they saw what was happening with Israeli 'settlements.'

Recall that the last election held in Gaza was in 2006; Hamas won control with 44% of the vote, fought a battle (the Battle of Gaza) to rid themselves of their major opponent, al Fatah, in 2007, and hasn't allowed an election since.

The Middle East is a great place for us to stay out of and take no sides.

Lest we forget - the IDF attacked (by aircraft strafing, napalming, rocketing, and motor torpedo boats torpedoing, and machine-gunning) the USS Liberty and its lifeboats June 8, 1967, killing 34 sailors and wounding 174 more. The leaders of Palestine seem to not want a realistic solution.

I'm simple minded. My limited intellect precludes me from understanding why anyone would paraglide across a border and slaughter men, women and babies.

I must admit I chuckled when one of the law enforcement officers said “Cleaned House!” in the above video after the tear gas was thrown.
