Default Unsolved '60s death

I didn't want to hi-jack the Mrs. Pusser post, but it reminded me of the death of Bobby Fuller, who could've been Buddy Holly's brother, kinda, but was a very talented performer/artist. He was supposedly beat up, doused in gasoline, gas hose in his mouth, and he drove his car home, died, and rigormortis had already set in within 1/2 hour. Originally ruled suicide, changed to accidental or something, and basically still is an open case. They DID do an autopsy, I believe, and there was no gas or drugs in his system.
I believe in '66 I was 9 years old. I don't remember! The man was supposedly very talented. His music library proves this. I like his music. What a waste...

I was a young disc jockey (18 years old) at a little top 40 radio station in Central California at the time of Bobby Fuller's death. Lots of speculation. One that I remember was that he was on "more than familiar terms" with a woman named Melody who also happened to be the girlfriend of a small-time member of the Mafia. As some speculate, the mobster had Fuller killed. Of course, nothing was proven.
