Default Posting problems

Why can’t I go advanced and post pictures? When I post on another thread it won’t let me post pictures.

Just a guess, but are you using Attach files /Manage attachments in the Additional Options pane? This will open a pop-up window asking you to Browse, ie locate the image, on your computer. You then upload and close the pop-up window. When you Preview, it will show up as a thumbnail in the lower LH corner.

If you want to embed it in the message window, click on the thumbnail, copy the image link, then go back to the message window, click on the little photo icon ("insert image") remove the "http://" header, then paste the image link you copied. (If you're linking to an online image, you don't have to remove the "http://" header.)

Depending on your Forum status, there are limits on the size (physical dimensions and data) of the image you can post.

Somebody has already posted a large picture earlier in the thread. You need to scroll right to get to the place where you can type.

I’ll try that. I’ve posted pictures before and I was able to put one in this thread. I first noticed it happening on the black dog thread.
