All Ok with us on the Island...

N/W Houston and downtown look like
they were bombed.
We were bracing for it to hit here but thankfully it lost
some steam plus the supercell stayed abit N/E of us.

Temps forecast to hit the mid 90's today and still thousands
without power.

We were without power from about 8:00 PM Thursday until 4:00 PM Friday. Found some ice without a problem early Friday morning. Not really a lot of damage except for tree limbs around me. I'm two miles west of the Galleria.

The biggest problem is a lot of random traffic lights are dark or flashing red. Nobody around here seems to know how right-of-way works. Mostly it's an attitude of "I stopped so I can go" or "I'm not going until everybody holds their position for ten seconds".

North of us got hit hard, we were on the tail end, had some wind, rain, thunder and lightning, power blipped off for 20 seconds. Now into the heat, humidity and mosquitoes for awhile
