Nice bunch of hats. The Gamboa is obviously named after the little town in the part of the canal right before it opens into Lake Gatun. Gamboa is also the location of the prison where some US citizens were liberated during Operation Just Cause. Beautiful area and a nice hat.

Actually Panama hats are made in Ecuador. Gamboa is the guy who sales them. I did not know there was a town. Thanks

My brother-in-law just retired from postal mail carrier. He gave me one of those white plastic hats for sun & rain protection, kinda like a jungle hat you see explorers wear on TV. I ruined it yesterday trying to make it red, white, & blue. Stupid paint ran all over & under the green masking tape. I won't be wearing it tomorrow...most of my neighbors think my elevator is stuck between thoughts as it is!
Those straw hats are pretty cool. Never had any use for one, though.

The Borsolino is a very fine. 1 step below monti christi.
Just like cars, boats, horses, whiskey, and women the finer they are the higher the cost.

My pantaloons of choice. Especially when I want to go formal at Wal-Mart.

Those are called 'Pith' helmets. I guess they got that name so when you're walking through the jungle monkeys in trees wouldn't pith on your head....
