Recently the "NJ Gun Forums" site went down and appears gone. do any NJ gun people know of any similar site to keep up on our ever changing laws or have any inside info if the forums will be coming back? I wouldn't put it past our communist DEI AG and Governor to have it hacked.

NJ is weird. I got stopped by a NJ State Trooper once for having a gun rack in my P/U truck...no gun..just the rack... We had a talk with his supervisor. Didn't go well for him. I was from Md
 
There is nothing worse than dealing with a LEO who is a dedicated anti-gun hoplophobe in an anti-gun state! Obviously this one didn't understand that he cannot enforce his personal opinion, just the laws as written that are on the books.

Yes, the term hoplophobe/hoplophobia was originated by Jeff Cooper, but it is a legitimate, defined word in the dictionary.

The rest of the story.. I had just visited my wholesale FFL distributor down the road. I had 11 guns on the floor in the backseat in the truck...at least a 100 pounds of powder and cases of shells primers etc under the tonneau cover...and at the time I also carried a badge... State Fire Marshall...couldn't hardly wait to get rid of that though. I was a firefighter...didn't want to be a cop too.

got to add.Went to his barracks? just down the road..As his SGT gave him the hard time about what kind of idiot he was he was going...but sarge he had a gun rack. He had to make an apology. The Sgt had some sense! Another galaxy far far away now thankfully
