Battleship
As I stated in another thread, I watched a decent amount of the Olympics, and when the United States did well in an event, I found myself yelling and screaming in support.
Well, about 4:15pm this afternoon I was flipping through channels and came to the SYFY channel. A movie was in progress that seemed familiar. It was “Battleship”. While I hadn’t seen it before, I had seen a YouTube video that had some scenes from the movie in it, while playing AC/DC’s song “Thunderstruck”. I REALLY like that song! I decided to watch the remainder of the movie that started at 3:30pm. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and at points, I was yelling and screaming as much or more than when watching the Olympics! I know, I have completely lost my mind!! I blame it on the “Thunderstruck” song getting me fired up, and then the “old retired” Navy guys helping to kick some Alien butt was more than I could take!🤯 If this doesn’t get you going maybe telling you that “extremely easy on the eyes” Brooklyn Decker is in it, as well as inspirational double amputee Colonel Gregory Gadson. Please don’t tell me that this could NEVER happen. Let me have my dreams.👍
Anyone else here enjoy this 12 year old movie?
Larry

Is ok fantasy entertainment, better than most, IMO.
Still wonder where "kissing the donkey" came from.

You beat me to it. ^^^ OP, you have to watch the entire movie. I'm not huge on Syfy, but that is a very good movie.

It's a fun little romp, a bit like Wing Commander, but with more water.
