Well, I went to Costco this morning and bought 3- 3pound cans of their fine grind dark roast coffee. 100% Columbian.
Why? Just to try to save a few bucks. The Columbians refused to take plane loads of immigrants, so they have a 25% tariff coming on things we import. Well Columbia only exports coffee, criminals and drugs.
So the way I see it the price is going up soon, and by the time that the banks get through playing with commodities on the futures market, and everybody marks up their new tariff adjusted cost that ought to translate to about a 50% increase.
I can't imagine what an El Grande, mocha dunkachino, latte with whipped cream is going to cost at the counter? 10 dollars would not surprise me. Thankfully I am not hooked on that stuff.
