I just saw the threads about sarah15 owning people money. I wish I would have seen these when they were active. James Brewster owes me money for 53 guns and several knives and scopes. It’s obvious he will continue his same business practices just under a new name now S15 guns. I thought I was the only one that was in this position but obviously I’m not. It’s so frustrating being ripped off

Why would you do that? Wouldn't a more prudent course be to start out with say, 5 firearms consigned to this person, get the proceeds for them and then move forward? Did you vet this person? Request letter(s) of recommendation from previous clients? To hand over the entire collection, with no recourse or leverage leaves you totally vulnerable. Caveat Emptor

If you are so inclined I would read the original thread in this matter. There were multiple victims including myself.
Hindsight being 20/20 I am sure all of us would have preferred to do things as you suggested. I won’t rehash what has already been covered extensively so if you read the back story and the various comments in that thread it does provide some perspective on why many chose James.

I will add that Sarah15 was a very long time successful seller on GB. I personally had won a number of guns on his GB listings over the years. As far back as 2009.

I co-signed my collection to him and he sold them on gunbroker. They sold several months ago
Perhaps somebody will find that other thread for us. If I remember who it was correctly, Hand Ejector said that there is no way that the consignor can offer any information on the sale on GB because he is neither the buyer nor seller. If Sarah15 makes buyers happy then they give him positive feedback.

The consignor now only becomes one of a long list of debtors in a bankruptcy suit. I also understand, please correct me, that GB is deliberately ignoring this situation and claiming no responsibility whatsoever.

Kind Regards!

I haven’t figured out how to reply to a certain comment people are making but I bought thousands and thousands of dollars of firearms arms from sarah15 over several years and had zero issues so I thought I could trust him. Regardless of why I did it or not that’s no excuse for someone to rip you off and like I said I’m not the only person. And he just changed his companies name to continue to rip people off

So if you read someones post and you want to copy it , at the bottom of the post is a quote button. Push it and then you can write about it underneath and it will show on your new post.
