I have the American in Left Hand. Go to the Rimfire Central site and sub topic CZ. There is a lot of information there. You may want to change out the action screw set http://www.jnpgunsprings.com

I have a Savage Mk II, but all my "CZ friends" say that the American is better.

I have the American in .22 Mag. Luv it, luv it, luv it. The front sight AND the rear sight were removed and replaced with a pair of "Hex Sights." At 25 yards it can place five in the ten ring, no further than 3/4 of an inch apart. Plus I added a Millet Redot with "see-thru" mounts for varmints.

I don't think you can go wrong with either of them. I would get whichever one fits you the best.

I have a CZ452 FS and it is accurate and an absolute delight to shoot.

CZ is what Remington should be IMHO.

The Lux has too much drop at the comb for comfortable scope use, if that's of concern.
