Default S&W Factory Repair Question

I have read from a few people on this forum about Vito who works on revolver warranties. I hear he is really a great gunsmith. Is he the only one who works on revolvers, as I have a .460XVR in for machining defects and it sounds like he would be the best man for the job. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks

All the guys in service are good.

I'd let them check it out first.
Has it been delivered yet?
Run the number from your shipping label first.

It'll take a wfew days for it to "get in the system."

Look for the acknowledgment card in the mail.

my local gun shop/dealer told me once that the gun's ser.# is logged by the smith what built it, when it comes back for a fix, its his gun, he built it ,he fixes it. Thats why gun makers will hustle up a repair that a customer sends back, they dont want "bad press",but when your dealer sends back your gun, you can only hollar at him cause you dont have it back.
