I just received a CTC railmaster pro, none of the 4 inserts provide a flush fit to the trigger guard. The unit does lockup solid and is a quality piece. I will be contacting CTC to see if a compatible insert is in the works.
I read a purchase review stating that the CTC railmaster pro does not fully seat on the M&Pc, leaving the pressure paddles aft of the trigger guard. I can't find any pics on the web to verify this before making the purchase! Any input would be most appreciated. Thanks!
I went with the LCP custom! The trigger is smoother, lighter, and has less travel. Additionally, the abundance of issues that forum members are reporting with their Bodygaurds really made me think twice.
How about providing the lot # of the 40 S&W Winchester White Box, so that other forum members can check it against their ammo inventory. Otherwise this thread is just another lamentation against S&W, polymer frames, and the SAAMI Specs of the 40 S&W cartridge.
The Speer Gold Dot SB velocity is measured from a 2" barrel. Remington does not list the barrel length for the stated velocity. The difference in velocity is substantial from a 6" barrel then from a 2" one.
I have a Delta Point on a PC40 ported and it's definitely a winner, but the pro addresses some of it's short comings.
1. Changed to MOA windage and elevation adjustments. No more torx head adjustment & locking screws.
2. Added a manual brightness adjustment to augment the auto intensity...
I believe the shield RSA's have a 5,000 round service life. After an initial 500 rounds break in, I like to put at least 1 box of ammo through my EDC each week. So, I would need to change out RSA's about every 2 years. You can't have to many spare parts on hand, especially S&W M&P parts! ;)
G&R Tactical have them in stock for $9, but their minimum order is $50. I ordered (2) RSA's for my shields $18,(1) RSA for my compact $9, and (2) 3rd Gen slide stops for my compact & CORE $30. $57+$10 S+H = $67. Received UPS Tracking # this afternoon with a Wednesday delivery date.
S&W M&P...
I purchased my first M&P last month for range fun, and love it so much that I'm buying a M&Pc for CCW.
My question for you good folks is whether to buy an M&Pc IL plugged frame that will accept the APEX RAM, or TS plugged frame that uses an incompatible sear block? How much difference does...
