I carry my M&P9c once in a while, but most of the time I carry a Chief's Special (CS9) which fits IWB much better.

Welcome from another Virginian. This is a great forum and you've come to the right place to learn things.

I use a Crossbreed Supertuck and it is very comfortable. It has a large sweat shield that completely covers the area between the slide and my skin. I also have a Tucker Texas Heritage that does a great job too, but it doesn't have as much shield.
