For the money, you can't beat a Smith & Wesson 1911. (just my opinion)

8 round mags I have fired well over 1000 rounds in each of my S&W 1911s using onle Chip McCormick Power Mag+ with no problems. I also have several Wilson 47D, and they are perfect, too. It's Just that the CMC are a bit less expensive.
