Can you change grips on a M69 from rubber to wood for the 'classic look'...
considering these below:

ARMSLIST - For Sale: Smith & Wesson 69 L-Frame DA/SA 44 RemMag 4.25"
I appreciate the Forum here and all the good 'down to earth' advice on previous posts. I've always wanted a .44magnum and wondered what your recommendations might be. I want it mostly just to say 'I have one' but also to go out and shoot at the range on occasion. I don't want a long barrel...
thanks for all the advice! I've been to my private range (ie, big dirt pile in back yard) twice with the gun shooting at about 7 - 10 yards. Love the gun and very glad I made the purchase.
It's making me want my 'all my life I've wanted a .44mag revolver'....
I've added a 'wheel gun' to the collection having done only 1911's and polymer semi's for a good while now. Bought it mostly so my wife would have something easy to shoot if she had to do it but also will use it myself for EDC. So, I've got a few questions:
1 - Will the gun go off...
Just picked up a 40C yesterday and am wondering what a good 'all purpose' round is for this gun. I haven't shot the gun yet and can't wait to do so. The main reason for this gun is home defense and carry.

I thought I had done this a few weeks back when I discovered the forum but guess I forgot to. Been a gun owner since 1966 or so but not actively involved in shooting until recently. Have just rediscovered my love for guns and shooting my Dad handed down to me. Recent purchases include a S & W...
Okay, putting my pride aside, I must admit that I am not a good shooter :eek::eek:
I am just getting back into shooting after almost 40 years of not using a gun at all (Long or Handgun). I am doing so with personal defense as my primary goal but I also love to shoot targets, etc... I...
I have recently purchased a Shield 9 and love it a lot. Have been out of shooting and guns for many decades and can't remember all the steps I used to go through in cleaning our hunting guns when we were kids. I am sure that some things have changed with respects to the new polymer guns like...
Not wanting to high-Jack the thread, but could you or someone comment more on this. I have noticed that mine does shoot left and I let my son-in-law shoot it today and he said the same thing and he's a much better shooter than me.
Thinking of putting a Talon Grip on my Shield 9 but want to know is this 'reversable'? If you put it on and just don't like it, can it easily be removed? If you take it off, what kind of sticky residue is left?
Thanks
Hi, I'm new here and also a new Shield 9 owner. I have been to the range for two trips and about 400 rounds and love mine. I have a local dealer who is selling both the 9 & 40 for $350!!!
