I prefer light loads to be loaded into 357 cases. Both for the crud ring effect, and the fact that the bullet isn't jumping as far to reach the cone.

I have a 629 PC with a 2.625 barrel and a smooth cylinder (no flutes). I am having a hard time finding a holster maker. Most holster are all for 4" or larger barrels. I prefer a OWB holster, scabbard, pancake, etc. Any suggestions?

I had a bunch of 452" XTP's that I got as bulelts for a M/L and they included sabots. I loaded them with bullseye and shot them through a Sig P220 with no problems. Seems that all hornady jacketed 45's run 452".

As already stated, get rid of the plated bulelts with 296/H-110, and use Mag primers and a firm crimp. My 44's prefer heavy bullets with 296 over lighter ones.

Even thought he OP refers his question to a 1006, I can speak for the durability of the 1066. I have shot EVERYTHING there is out of mine, flawlessly.

I need to find some original S&W 10MM mags, for 1006, 1066, 1026, etc. New are a bit pricey, so I am hoping to find some used ones out there, before I spend the money for the new ones.
