Thanks. I inherited an old carbine recently, a Winchester with the safety that can easily be mistaken for the mag release. I've been toying with the idea of reloading for it. Now, I'm toying with the idea of hunting with it.

Most hunting is done in low light times of day. In my experience you need something other than stock sights. Unless you have very young eyes.
