    What do I have?

If the stamp forward of the side plate is a monogram, I see JWM in the circle. Common monogram engraving has the last name initial superimposed over, or between first and middle initials.

1903 Hand Ejector Grips? - Disregard, Answer Rec'd!!!

Hello, Bob. I'm sure someone will be along soon with info on repops for your I frame. I know I've seen in past posts that they are available on the web. Maybe search the forum for "I-frame grips". Nice looking .32, BTW.

    Baby Russian Gauge

Over 20 years ago, I was a road service forklift mechanic, went on a call down in the Tuscola/Arcola IL area. On the way up the long driveway to the farm, I was amazed to see them baling hay with a John Deere baler pulled by a 4 horse side by side by side team. Power for the baler was a...

    007 Mod. 29 Stolen.

Good morning, all. I just read a report on BBC about a burglary in which several pistols were taken. Among them was a big, beautiful Nickel Mod. 29 used in "Live and Let Die", described as the "only gun in the world entirely finished in chrome." Got a chuckle out of that.

Want to learn info on this pistol if possible.

Someone else here could explain better than I about the hammer block safety, but I'll give it a shot. The way it worked was that if the revolver was dropped and hit the floor hammer first, the safety block prevented the hammer coming in contact with the primer on a round in the cylinder. The...

    I frame .32 #316XX disassembly video?

Hello to all. I hope someone can direct me to a video to take my hand ejector apart for a thorough cleaning and inspection. It is in very good shape, nickel about 90%+. 4 1/4" bbl w/ excellent bore. Recently I replaced broken strain screw. I saw some old oil residue inside, want it clean when I...

Smith & Wesson rescue tool vintage

I don't believe S&W made them, just marketed them. On the storage sleeve the top line says K-BAR-T, who I think was mfr. I know I have several specialty tools in my tool boxes which are K-T branded.

    Anyone knowledgable about Savage shotguns?

No one has mentioned the flaming bomb and US stamping on receiver. At least that part of the gun was "in the service". Just my observation. Mike

32 hand ejector strain screw source?

Disassembling a model of 1905? hand ejector to clean and lube, head of strain screw snapped off. I was using a well fitted driver about the same size as a SAT, and was unpleasantly surprised when the screw "popped". Is Numrich the only source, or can anyone suggest another source? SN 316xx...
