    Great, thanks for the information.

    California Compliant M&P 10

I have a California Compliant M&P 10 though I live in Nevada. I should have a YHM Phantom Titanium suppressor in the next month or two, and I am trying to figure out the best way to attach it. I do have the YHM 7.62 QD flash hider QD that it came with which I was planning on using for this...

    California Compliant and Suppressor

I bought a California compliant M&P 10, but I live in a state which permits suppressors. I just bought a YHP Phantom Titanium suppressor, and I was wondering if there would be any problems installing it to the rifle since it is the California version. Do I need to install anything on the rifle...

    586 L-Comp Value?

It is a prelock model, but the asking price is over $1000. Don't think it is worth that after reading everything here.

    586 L-Comp Value?

I don't need approval from anyone to purchase it either but I do have to justify the purchase to myself. 3" 586/686s are hard to find, but not too sure the $1000+ price the guy wants. I think my search for a 3" 13/65/586/686 will continue. Thank you everyone for your help.

    586 L-Comp Value?

Since I passed on the 686-5 3" model, I have since found a 586 L-Comp model available. It is about 95% (probably a low estimate), and it comes with the box, moon clips, and paperwork. What do you guys think that gun is worth?

    Value of 686-5

I have now seen a few 3" 686-5s. Some are with wood grips, and others with rubber grips. What type of grips did the 3" 686-5 come with from the factory?

    Value of 686-5

-4 is my preference though I have a no dash 6" 586 and -1 4" 681. I have been looking at 3" models, but I am going to pass on this one. I would have gone with the -5, but the price is ridiculous. Guy won't come down in price because it is a rare piece. It isn't common, but it isn't as though...

    Value of 686-5

Thanks you guys. I won't be buying that gun as the price is getting too high, but I am sure there is a 3" 686 out there in my price range. Just got to go find it now.

    Value of 686-5

I have the opportunity to buy a 3" 686+-5. No box or papers, but gun looks to be in excellent condition. What do you guys think this particular gun is worth? This is the first 3" gun I have seen in a long time, and I have been looking for a while. Thank you.

    S&W 581 no dash/need advice

It isn't a very rare model as S&W made them throughout the 1980s, but you are likely to see less of them than the 586s and 686s. I have a 681 which is a great shooter. The price isn't a steal, but if it has the original box and the condition is good then it probably is a fair price.

    Picked up 12-2

There is a bit of difference between a model 12 and a Colt Detective Special. Hopefully he has some more knowledgeable employees to help him out.

    Picked up 12-2

Right around $400. I thought I got a pretty good deal on it.

    Picked up 12-2

I even got it for a good price so I am not complaining. Good unused gun at a good price. Can't get much better then that. I sometimes carry a 442, but I might carry the 12 instead.

    Picked up 12-2

I picked up a nice model 12-2 yesterday. Box and papers are included, and the gun looks like it wasn't even fired.
