Just had my tank filled...1st time since last spring and it was $2.71 a gallon. When crude hit $150 a barrel a couple years back.. propane here never hit $2.00 a gallon. Reg unleaded gas is $2.69....why the run-up on propane??

Lots of occupations are statiscally more likely to result in death or disability than military service. Firefighters, emt's, and policeman aren't subject to immediate deployment to anywhere in the world for years at a time; and none that I am aware of endure the same hardships and deprivations...

Rule No 1: let the woman make her own choice. No handgun is really "enough gun". A .22 she has with her and shoots well is a better choice than a .357 she won't carry or practice with.

I love all my Smiths', but my "only one gun" answer would be a Winchester Model 12 pump in 12 gauge. For a handgun; I'd opt for something readily concealable like a 3" Model 60 in .357.

I bought a Thompson .22 Classic when they first came out. Walnut and steel appeal to me..and it shoots as good as it looks.

I had an initial "I want one of those" reactions but then I started thinking about how one would use the thing?

My favorite is my .45 Colt Model 25-7. It's the most accurate and enjoyable to shoot gun handgun I own.
