Hey I just wanted to drop in and say this is one very informative site and look forward to learning all I can!! I own a few S&W's and love everyone of them. 29-2 6" 10-7 2" 10-7 4" 30-1 2" 625-2 5" 500 8 3/8" 329PD 340PD Thats all I have right now, but I'm sure that list will continue to grow!

Thanks for the info and the welcome! Does the coiled portion of the spring face down or up? One end is longer than the other. Which way does it go in??? Sorry for all the questions but this is the first time I've ever had to deal with this. Thanks in advance!

Ok so here is my problem. I took my 340pd apart to remove the internal lock. No problems there, I have done it on 4 other S&W's. The problem I am having is when I went to put it back together the "Hand" came off and I am having problems getting it back on. There is a small spring inside the...
