I have a 9mm STI Targetmaster 6" 1911 style that has had exactly 100 rounds through it. There is not a mark on the outside of it and it looks like new. There are very slight wear marks on the end of the bull barrel where it goes into the slide bushing hole from running the hundred rounds...
I'm ready to buy some Bayou bullets in 9mm 124 grain. One bullet is smooth like a plated round and the other they offer looks cast with a lube groove. Which would be the better choice?
10 BNH isn't too bad but I would keep them below 1000 FPS. 158g bullet is great for .38 Special. I've loaded bunches of them using 4.0 grains of 231. Nice target load.
That's gorgeous! It's too nice for my current budget. If you have anything cheaper or you want to pull off some of the goodies and put some cheaper furniture on it I'd be interested.
