    Dating Remington DDs The only Remington DDs that can be dated in any way are those shipped in 1922 or later. They will have a two letter code on the barrel lug that gives the month and year shipped. There is no way to find the year of manufacture on any DDs except for the first 100 made.

    Rib width Looking at the pic, it appears to me that the ribs were different widths only because the barrels were different widths. Shouldn't they be called narrow bbl and bull barrel? Thanks
