Comment on shadow box The "Dead Man's Hand" that Hickock held when shot was two pair, aces and eights, not a full house, in case that's what you were trying to do. Still like the shadow box, very nice display.

Dating Remington DDs The only Remington DDs that can be dated in any way are those shipped in 1922 or later. They will have a two letter code on the barrel lug that gives the month and year shipped. There is no way to find the year of manufacture on any DDs except for the first 100 made.

Rib width Looking at the pic, it appears to me that the ribs were different widths only because the barrels were different widths. Shouldn't they be called narrow bbl and bull barrel? Thanks

My 4 screw K-22 has a bad hammer. It's easy to find hammers for S&W K frame 22s, but the sellers don't know if their hammer will fit my pistol. Can anyone help me out on the differences between my hammer and the newer hammers? Is there any feature that I should look for? Or is there any...
