Ummm... Any gun shop owner who generalizes to that extent should probably not be trusted about ANY opinion he has. More to the point, I've owned 3 S&W semiautos in my lifetime: A used 3913, which never failed; a Model 41, which wouldn't feed reliably and I sold; and my current Model 4586...
