Nice shooter. In terms of grips, the original target stocks look very good on the gun. However, for shooting with full power Magnum loads, the exposed metal of the backstrap and wood grip combination can get pretty unpleasant pretty quick. My preference are the Pachmayr Decelerator grips...

Nice 36! I picked up a decent 3" 36-1 circa 1974 for $450 recently.

And it makes my recent acquisition of my 19-3 circa 1969 for $540 look like a steal.

I just acquired this clean 19-3 circa 1969 for $540 at LGS just outside of Chicago. Hope this helps.
