Just how long is that barrel? Either an optical illusion or it looks to me like 28"?

    MAY 18, 1980

I was floating the Deschutes river in central Oregon the day it blew. We had not heard it but on the drive home when we saw the HWY 84 shoulders covered with parked cars taking pictures, we quickly figured it out. I lived about 60 miles SW as the crow flies. I was in HS at the time. I just...

What's the most reliable vehicle you've owned?

1985 Nissan King cab pickup. 368,000 miles and still on the road. Oil changes at 5000 miles, 3rd clutch, 3rd muffler, washer squirter pump, alternator, tires, and a whole bunch of tanks full of cheap Acro gas.

    Hercules 2400

Did it look just like these? I started loading in the late 70's/early 80's. I went thru a bunch of these can. I still have a few of them in my "still using" inventory.

    Let's talk about case lube....

During the early days of Covid, Dillon ran out of their spray lube. In talking with them, it was suggested I do what others have done---simple lanolin and alcohol. Been using this for around 5 years now. I cover the bottom of a cake pan with brass, spritz from a hard angle so as to get the...
