Yes there is my problem. The slide will not lock when I try to raise the slide lock by hand. It only locks with empty magazine or when last round fires.

I purchased a MP Shield 45 to carry for my concealed carry. It felt great in my hands and good reviews. I don’t know what happened but the slide isn’t locking when I clear it out. I’m not an expert on it. I use it for protection. Anyone have this problem? I would like to be safe around the...
