    Saw a nickel 13 with a 3inch barrel today

I was at a favourite shop today and he had a used Smith 13, nickel finish, 3 inch barrel. It was priced at $369. It was in nice shape, but I just put money down on a Smith 66 and a Sig 226 (with a nickel slide coincidentally) and I'm wondering if it is too rare to pass up.

Crappy economy - will guns get cheaper ??

I've noticed the used gun case at the Gander Mountain in Harrisburg filling up. I snagged a nice 66 2 1/2 for $299 the other day. I have an M1 I might sell, but now is probably a bad time. Won't get enough for it.

Have you ever seen a gun blow up?

So far I've seen two Glock 40s blow up. One was a 23 the other a 22. Both were shooting reloads. I saw 2 45s blow, one Para and one Kimber. The Kimber was with factory 45acp ammo, It cracked the slide, and put the shooter, who is a big man, on the ground. I saw a Colt 38 Super blow at an IPSC...

    used 66-5 2 1/2

I was at the Gander Mountain in Harrisburg today. Their prices on new guns suck but you can usually find used gun deals. They had a Smith 66-5 with a 2 1/2 barrel for $299. It's in nice shape. I already have one and was going to leave it for some other lucky soul, then I thought, "Screw him, he...

Why I Needed Another 9mm (this ain't the Lounge)

It looks like absolute crap. I'll do you a favor and take it off your hands for $250, and you pay the shipping and transfer fee. Seriously though, that is a sweet looking revolver.

Finish on 642 or 37 - Which is Better?

I have a 37 that has seen a lot of carry since about 2001. The finish has not worn at all. It hasn't been shot a whole lot, but that's not the issue. It has recently been replaced since I got one of the no lock 642s. I wanted a 442 but finding one without the lock for a decent price has proven...

    New 642's without lock

I found one today. I traded a 1911 9mm frankengun I never use as I didn't want to melt the credit any further. My guy had two for $399 each. I bought one and another customer saw it in my hand and bought the other. I haven't searched the whole thread but my dealer said they are an overun for...

    Price on a 586

First time poster here. I'm not a huge revolver guy, though I've owned a few. I've wanted a 4 inch Smith 357. Either a K or L frame. I wasn't really shopping but came across a 586 4 inch at the local Gander Mountain. It was priced at $349 and came out to $376 w/tax. It appear in excellent...
