So have I but cabelas had 125s on sale and were out of 158s. I'll eventually be switching to Blue Bullets for both 9 and 38 but I'm working through what I have right now.

It's definitely the way to go for competition ammo. I lost a few pieces at a steel challenge match but not enough to cry over. Now I have more moon clips so I'm not starting a stage with speed strips loading the gun. I've been loading 125s and to switch from 9 to 38sc and back is a simple change...
I had a 10.5 inch barreled SBH at one time. Walked around with it hog hunting and decided any game would be in the next county by the time I cleared leather. Traded it for this one. Still need to get leather for it. Loves shooting a Keith boolit.

Most of my guns are pretty safe. For me, my Anschutz 2013 is the most safe at home. I shot it for several years through college. I couldn't part with a gun that is a reason I am where I am today.
I just received my 627 Pro last Thursday from Grabagun. I have not had a chance to shoot it yet but hopefully will very soon. I purchased the Pro over the PC because of mainly price. That and I didn't care about the additional features the PC came with over the Pro. For me, I bought the Pro to...
I will also echo the advice to let her pick. Even if she doesn't get to shoot everything she may like, she will know the category she likes best (sub-compact auto, sub-compact revolver, etc).
I finally got some 38 Special loaded with 158gr Berry's and CFE Pistol. No chance to shoot them yet but I did dry fire and practice reloads with 38SP cut to 38SC length. That process took a little to long for my liking so for 18 cents a case, I have 500 pieces Starline .38SC brass on the way.
I've got to give a shout out to Grab a Gun and UPS. From the time I hit submit order to the time I confirmed the serial number was less than 36 hours. I've got to do some chores and work this weekend but I may sneak out to shoot some if I get ammo loaded. I've never shot a mooned revolver but I...
I've had issues when leaving a magazine loaded long term (1 year plus) . It may have been reloads causing issues but I switch which magazine is loaded about once a month to ensure I don't have issues.

Cowboy,
Taken in good humor and edited. I'm pretty excited about this purchase. Now I just need to make some ammo, get more moonclips, make mooning and demooning tools, and find some time to hit the range.
Placed the order this morning at 615 from Grabagun. I was wary of buying online but no one in town carries them and the price is $100 less than anyone else I have found. At 845 I get an email from Grabagun with shipping information and it should be here by Friday. Now to can get to the fun part...
