I don't think any of us bought a Shield for competitive shooting. I own mine for EDC and that's the way I practice with them at the range. But, you can definitely get 2-3" groups with them with practice. I have a 9mm and .45 and am very happy with the performance of both. Alan

What's the question? To me the Shield in any caliber is an EDC self defense weapon. I don't expect competition groupings. Looks like you did well. Alan

Iv'e carried IWB for years with various autos and have never had an issue with engaging the mag release. YMMV. Alan

I initially though screw extractor, but that's going to take an awfully small one. I once had a similar issue on my motorcycle and was able to cut a small slot in the head using a Dremel tool, then use a standard screwdriver to remove it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
