97° and smokey out. Need to walk a mile on pavement to pick up the ford. I think I'll do it tomorrow at 7 am when it's 65°! (The cats have been bringing baby rabbits in the house to help them cool off! My old landing net is in use again 😂 )

My sister was a flight attendant for continental in the early 80s when a flight stalled on takeoff during a blizzard in Denver. Nerve wracking wait until we heard from her several hours later. One of my classmates from school was working that flight and died that night

And I just got a call from my other sister who’s at the er being tested.She had a seizure and they don’t want her driving so I’ll bring her back here to hang out with our seriously demented mom 😂 What a week! (And they wonder why I smoke lol)

Heard from my niece a few days ago that her step dad ,John,my sisters 2nd ex husband ,who helped raise my nieces ,had been killed in a car accident with his girlfriend in New Mexico last week (don’t know any details yet) Then she called this morning and her dad , Dan,my sisters first husband...

Bobcat or a very young mountain lion (kitten?)

A cub made his home in my back yard for a few weeks this spring. He and the cats kept an eye on each other lol

I’ve used +p reloads in my model 60 wearing pacs. One star do not recommend 😆

I had a long gravel drive and weeds would grow on the edges. Water softener salt did the trick and they didn’t come back for a long time.I use a combination of roundup and a weed whacker at my current place

The mrs found a pair of bull snakes in the basement one morning shortly after I’d fled to save my sanity 😆

And it happened in the middle of the night.We had one in the 70s that killed 150+ people in a single canyon. It happened again ten years ago in the same spot and a couple more canyons with just 2 casualties this time
