Model 39's at AIM - which "European police" dept?

Proof marks on frame, barrel and slide are definitely from Liege, Belgium. cfr. European Union Marks: http://www.europarl.europa.eu/hearings/20061004/imco/genco_en.pdf Please consider that proof marks of every single state member of the EU is recognised by the whole Union, but mean that the gun...

Model 59 7.65 (30 Luger) Caliber..... Please comment

I don't think that the pistol comes from an Italian importer. Every single pistol imported in Italy must have the proof marks of the "Banco Nazionale di Prova" of Gardone Val Trompia on barrel, slide and frame (Banco Nazionale di Prova per le Armi da Fuoco Portatili e per le munizioni...

    9mm barrel rechambering

Exellent remark WR Moore! A 9 parabellum chamber is for a case 19.15 mm (0.754 in) in length, 9.93 mm (0.391 in) base diameter and 9.65 mm (0.380 in) neck diameter vs, 9x21 that has a case 21.15 mm (0.833 in) in length, the same 9.93 mm (0.391 in) base diameter AND 9.63 mm (0.379 in) neck...

    9mm barrel rechambering

The problem is finding someone who can ream 2mm deeper a couple o barrel chambered for cal 19x21... I've already got them. If I just were allowed to bring them to Italy, I wouldn't have any problem in having my barrels being cut 2mm deeper. I didn't think it should have been so difficult in USA...

    9mm barrel rechambering

Thank you guys for your concern. In Italy is considered illegal owning and importing semi auto handgun in 9x19, but the caliber itself is allowed and revolver chambered for it as well. The problem is that I have to import my guns already modified, as the official importers do. After importing, I...

    9mm barrel rechambering

Yes, I did. They can't do it. Actually that's quite weird as they chamber in cal 9x21 every single handgun originally produced in 9x19 that S&W exports to Italy; a good deal...

    9mm barrel rechambering

I have a couple of 3rd gen pistols (3906 and 5906). As in a year my diplomatic mission will termitate and I'd bring them in Italy I need to rechamber their barrel to the silly 9x21, not being legal the 9mm Parabellum (9x19) in that Country. Can anyone refer me to a gunsmith that usually does...

    5906 building up a longslide

thanks handgunner356, my problem is that folks at S&W ([email protected]) don't even answer my e.mails... I wrote the last one yesterday morning attaching the pictures of my slide. Do you know any specific address? I can't even image that S&W has such poor customer service... I appreciate your...

    5906 building up a longslide

Hi, a few monts ago, having a wonderful 5906, I bought a long slide from Numrich that fits. Grider provided me with two 5" barrel 9x21 and .356tsw and helped me to recognize the slide as a super9. Since then I'm trying to complete it with sights, extractor w/ pin and spring, firing pin and...
