    Anyone carry a M&P 22c?

    I DO have a can on my M&P .22, and I never carry it for defense. The can is a Yankee Hill "Mite" and I wind up shooting the M&P more often than my Ruger 22/45, or my Walther P22, or SIG Mosquito....the M&P functions better and is just more fun to shoot since the frame is the same size as my M&P...

    686 vs 686+...about to buy

    I also agree, and own both, and have had no problems with either. In fact, both guns were purchased used, and I have put many a round down range and both still function flawlessly. With that my suggestion is to buy both! Good shooting!

    Model 24-6 3" Nickel Question

    You'll notice that when you try to load a .44 Magnum in your model 24 the rim and about 1/8th of an inch will stick up and not allow the cylinder to close. The cases on the .44 magnum are just a hair longer and wider than the .44 special. Good shooting!

    I dry fired the M&P 40 with and without the APEX when purchasing mine. I had it installed before leaving the store. It certainly makes a huge difference.

    If anyone is still viewing this thread, I too have had a problem of painful trigger finger when firing a S&W 629 8". This was not recoil, or my finger hitting the trigger guard, but pain radiating through the pad of my finger to deep in the finger bone. It would happen after a round or two...
