We all have our own comfort zones. I could shot +P from that gun for self defense reasons and don't be bothered. Pressures over the decades have gone down from my reading so years ago standard pressures were closer to what +P is now.

I have been to some shows in my state and have never once seen anything i wanted especially for the price asked. So i have not been to one in a long time. I hear there are some areas where they are actually decent to go to but not in my blue state.

I would think the legality of it would not be wide spread at all. I think that more deer have been poached with a .22 then any other caliber from my reading over the decades. But it would be far from my first choice.

I am more confident with my weapon then my skills under that sort of pressure. As the weapon has been tested but i have not.

I can take my TRR8 with me if i want a 357. But more often then not then 1 of my 386pd's will go with me. When i do take a longer barreled gun one of my 10mm auto's or my 329pd goes in the holster.

I shoot DA mostly short to moderate range and more combat style training with some longer range to have that skill as well. And some SA for smaller groups at a distance. I am not a one size fits all. As I also shoot semi autos most traing sessions as well as different calibers

Don't think i have ever heard anything bad about them not functioning, which i am sure there are cases about it as there is with every model of gun. I have been wanting one for almost 20 years but have only seen one in person and it felt like a small tank.

I quit guessing why people do what they do long ago. I am sure some think the same about me. Sometimes i wonder myself about that too.
