Good score! The earlier valuation of $600-800 seems right to me. Being a trader without a license is illegal. Being a smart collector and noticing a good deal is fun. But it seems to trigger some sensitivities. I don't know why.
The guns I grew up with had awful triggers. We never even had the discussion, good trigger, bad trigger. We didn't know better, and we were making good shots. If it's the gun you got, and you use it a lot it'll probably work fine.
Great story. I didn't see how that was all going to connect but it did. As others have said, sometime the loss of a pet can be as hard as the loss of a family member, well they are family members.
