I've tested mine with Federal HST, Speer Gold Dot LE, and Hornady Zombie Max--all of them worked just fine. My favorite carry ammo is Gold Dot, and the other brand I rotate through and carry is Hornady Critical Defense.

Comp-Tac MTAC I like the Comp-Tac line of holsters for carry for my other brands of guns, and I also like the Remora holsters too. Here is the MTAC with the Shield. I only had to order the kydex shell, as these holsters are convertible to use with other brands and sizes of pistols:

Comp-Tac MTAC for Shield Well, the kydex shell arrived today for my Comp-Tac MTAC holster. Four screws and a little loc-tite later, here is the result: Really nice, and I'm glad that the fit is just as good as with my 1911 and Glock pistols with this holster.

Put another 100 rounds of Speer Lawman 124 gr. downrange with the Shield today. It took forever, because I only have the two stock magazines. Shoots like a champ, too--was having fun shooting at my new steel targets (finally!) and I must say that it's nice to get instant feedback on a hit...

I ran standard 124 and 147 gr. Gold Dots through mine, and they worked just fine out of both the 7 and 8-round magazines.
