Does anyone know if the sw9ve barrel will fit in a sd9ve?

Response I got from apex on Dec 26th was no time table on its release. I asked if the project had been cancelled and was told somewhat of a fluff answer without actually answering me. One can only hope it gets released soon.

US barrel is 4 inch. Canadian barrel is 4.25 inches. Unsure if that's enough extra barrel length to even have threads installed or if I would have to mod the pistol beyond just threads. Kinda just thinking out loud and trying to bounce ideas off of people with more knowledge on the subject.

I was wondering if it's possible to buy a Canadian length sd9ve barrel so I can have the end threaded for a suppressor. Emailed s&w and no response. Thanks
