    Berry's 350 on s&w 500 mag

Should be fine, just start on the low end of the data and test.

    Berry's 350 on s&w 500 mag

I don't have the exact number for the COL but we placed the cannelure specifically for the 500 S&W. Just seat the bullet so your crimp is in the cannelure and you will be fine. Funny thing is it also is perfect for the correct COL for the .50 Beowulf, I shoot quite a few in the Wulf with great...

    "Best" brand of plated bullets??

I totally agree with you on the .44 bullet, you really have to be easy on the load with that caliber, the .357 as well. For the experienced loaders like you guys that understand the bullet design as well as it's limitations, you're able to get the max performance out of it. It's difficult for...

    "Best" brand of plated bullets??

I appreciate the votes of confidence from the forum! I will say that my competitors make a good product and our niche has always been price sensitive, my advice is buy the best priced plated and you should be happy. Take a look at Powder Valley as well, they are very aggressive on price. I...

    Reloading Berry's Bullets in a Sigma SW9VE

I'm not familiar with the Sigma, but I will say that the CZ pistols have a much shorter freebore than lets say a Beretta M9, and the users have to seat the bullet deeper than normal to account for that. If it is freebore you can mark the bullet in a loaded round with a sharpie and chamber it...

    9mm HBRN

Right now we are in the testing phaze for the bullet performance. The whole goal is to build a HP that will expand without coming apart. I've been reminded of the awesome power of the .45 over the last two weeks in testing, seeing the results in the ballistics gel. As we move onto other...

    9mm HBRN

All the way back to a miniball and moved to the fore in a 148gr .38 version made popular by the bullseye shooters. Those were made to obtrude, but the jacketed and plated are not designed for obtrusion.

    9mm HBRN

I've seen the domed base bullets, they use a ball end top punch instead of a flat punch. Like the 148 HBWC we use a pin punch that makes a hollow cavity in the base of a 124gr bullet giving it a length of the 147gr

    9mm HBRN

I'd love to see a picture of the hollow base from Winchester, the last 115gr I saw had a domed bottom.

    9mm HBRN

Don't confuse the Winchester FMJ bullet with a true hollow base. I have some Winchester .223 55gr bullets that are not filled out at the base with the lead core, that is poor manufacturing and not intentional. We had a bunch of customers want to send them back and get the Hornady 55gr bullets...

    9mm HBRN

We've had great results with this bullet, it came about as a request by one of our larger OEM customers for a law enforcement contract. They performed so well we decided to put them in our lineup. The specs called for a thicker plating, that's why they are called a TP.

    help with 40 S&W

I load my .40 caliber rounds to right at 950fps on a 180gr bullet using Universal Clays, works well in all my pistols. I've shot hotter at 1050fps but my pistols seem to shoot better around the 1000fps. We've got many competitive shooters that shoot our bullets and not because they get them at...

    Berry's .40 HP

Me too, I have many OEM customers screaming for them. Honestly I don't shoot our current HP, they were not made to expand, but if you have to have a rearward weighted bullet it does that. Our line of hollow based bullets have shown that they are very accurate.

    Berry's .40 HP

We have a new line of HP's coming this summer, the new machines are on the floor but the final profiles are not quite done. It will be a thicker plated bullet to be more like a Gold Dot than a standard plated bullet. We're after performance with this bullet, one that will properly expand...
