I have a blued Model 27-2, serial # N1779XX. The barrel and cylinder have a very slight reddish tint that is different than the frame, not noticeable unless you really look at the gun under good light. I don't believe the gun has been re-blued. Has anyone experienced this with a factory finish...

I know you are not supposed to dry fire the model 41. Is there a safe way to dry fire the pistol and not cause internal damage? Thanks

I recently traded for a Model 686-1 revolver. My initial inspection of the gun was quite positive until I got it home and was able to give it a closer inspection. When the trigger is pulled it will, on occasion, fail to rotate the cylinder. This only happens maybe once in every 50 trigger pulls...
