    SW Victory Issues

Assuming that the bore chamber is clean, then I would assume it's the recoil spring, get a few pound stronger spring from Wolfe or Springco. I'm shooting Armscor 36 gr. ammo in mine and it cycles nicely, but will not lock open on last round.

    New Prob with new SW22

Fixed the FTE issue I had with my new Victory, now, every so often, the bolt cannot be racked, it will only come back about 1/4 to 1/2 inch. Disassembling the gun solves it for a while. Does anyone have an idea as to what could cause this?

    SW22 Victory ejection failures

Well, on Friday, all went great, shot 100 rounds of mixed ammo, CCI MM, Amscor, Stingers and Fed Blue Box. No FTE's, just 100% of good shooting.

    Second Range Visit with Victory

Went to the range this AM with my almost new SW22, first visit was a disaster, with about one-third stovepipes and double loads, after going on Youtube which advised to bend the ejector bar inward and run the gun very wet, I'm happy to say that the Victory ran 100 rounds of CCI MM, Federal Blue...

    My new SW22 Victory

Just got a new SW22. First time out and it would jam/stovepipe about every third round. This was after a good cleaning and lube at home. Did some research on Youtube and it seems that many of this model suffer from misaligned ejector bars. I followed their advice and bent the bar tip inward...

    SW22 Victory ejection failures

I just got a new Victory, went to my range yesterday, and it was a nightmare, I could not shoot more than 3 rounds at a time, mostly stovepipes, sometimes it would double load the cylinder. I found the mags were very greasy on their interiors, so much so the rounds would not drop into the mag...

    New .380 EZ Issues

Update: Called S&W, spoke with a C/S rep and explained my issue,(stovepipes), she said they would send me 2 revised spring rate springs. I'll install them and see if there is any improvement. Not feeling very optimistic, may go with the spent shell option.

    Worst Recoiling Handgun You Own

With my old, arthritic hands, my Sig P232 in 380 really hurt my wrists. No more straight blowback designs for me.

Want to buy a PC 380

I'd like to get a Performance Center 380 EZ, but my current EZ is throwing stovepipes like it's nobody's business. Has anyone heard if the PC editions are any better in this area?

    New .380 EZ Issues

I was using Privi-Partisan. After reading the very long thread about this issue, I feel that it is caused by 2 issues. One The mag spring is too weak, and two, the lips on the mag tops are too open, and do not push the shell forward, but rather, push it upwards resulting in a stovepipe. I will...

    M&P 380 EZ Stovepipe Cure?

Please keep us informed as to the outcome when your gun is returned. I just started a new thread on this issue today, as a result of my range session. Smith needs to devote some R&D time to this issue, or it will hurt sales, as the word gets out.

    New .380 EZ Issues

Bought a new 380 EZ and on the first 2 times out, it was fine, today, on the third time out, about 15-20% of last rounds in the mag stovepiped, and 2 light strikes, both of which fired on their second try. I've heard that the S-P's are a magazine issue and I should be looking to install stiffer...

Shield EZ- diffs in Mod. 1 and Mod. 2?

Let's wrap it up.We've established that (a) there never was a Model 1, (b) the Model 2 is not referred to as a Model 2, and (3) Some people are horrified by a "Performance Center" model, hmm, will it be Model 3?

Shield EZ- diffs in Mod. 1 and Mod. 2?

Well, went to the range this AM, I shot 50 rounds of 95 gr. Federal ammo. What a great gun to shoot! I traded in my Sig P232 (blowback design) for this one, and it's wonderful. Recoil barely exceeds my .22 pistols. I also shot my Sig P238, which is just a bit snappier than the EZ.

Shield EZ- diffs in Mod. 1 and Mod. 2?

Silly me, thinking a new gun would come out as a Model 1, Model 2 it is, as I said it really doesn't matter. I'm going to introduce my first-born as my "second child". The reference to an 18* grip angle came off of a Youtube video from one of the numerous unboxing videos. Why am I being...
