158 Grain 357 Magnum Medium Power Load

There's a lot of testimony on the internet about SR4756 being low flash and a number of experiments confirming it. Here is one link with a video illustrating its low flash. A visible difference in powder I haven't yet tested it myself. As far as pressures go, I saw enough high pressure...

158 Grain 357 Magnum Medium Power Load

Oops! I meant canary chamber. It seems that all of my single-actions have one chamber that shows high pressures faster than others - I call it my canary chamber - in the canary in the mines showing when the air got bad. I'm sorry - thought canary and typed parrot.

158 Grain 357 Magnum Medium Power Load

I used the less expensive SWC bullet to calibrate my shots. I used them first to see if they shot at the same velocity of the HP bullet, and once that was verified I fired a number of them to ensure my five shots of the more expensive bullets (try to buy bullets lately?) would give me a fairly...

    Looking for a CHEAP .380

May I suggest a Micro Desert Eagle Micro Eagle Pistol: Magnum Research . It is small, easy to conceal, and because it is completely made of steel - easy to shoot. I own one, and so does my wife. We have shot hundreds of rounds through ours without any failures. They can be found for less...

    S&W M1006 VS G20

It is truely a "little sweetheart," and travels with me wherever I go. It is compact, while still filling the hand, easy to point and shoot, and packing 10 rounds of fury, does a lot more than snarl when the striker hits home. A more compact handful of protection does not exist.

    S&W M1006 VS G20

Thanks guys. I suspect the 1006 is a tad stronger, and one of the reasons I've considered it. The 10mm nips at the heels of a sadate 41 magnum and I consider the 41 mag at the bottom for big game. So, being able to use full tilt Buffalo Bore ammo as a mainstay is attractive. I think the 10...

    S&W M1006 VS G20

This is my first post among this illustrious crowd – Hi. I own and shoot Glocks in 10MM Auto. I’ve also hunted with them in the past. But right now I’ve got an inexplicable desire to own a Smith and Wesson Model 1006 10MM Auto. I’ve read numerous things about them and all say they are a fine...
