I haven't been here for five years, but now have a new Chief's Special. I thought the nickle Model 36 could do with a new friend. It's a Model 60 in stainless. I've painted out the last digit of the serial number. Can anyone tell me anything about the gun - year of manufacture etc. Thanks...

I'm an amateur compared to these other guys. But... I'm a big fan and believer in .38 Special. A great round, low recoil, accurate - you can't always call 9mm from a semi auto accurate, and easy to carry in a model 36 snubbie :)
