    Banned Firearm

Let’s see, quit using the county range 10 minutes from here because they rightly or wrongly banned some stinkin’ SIG and be forced to drive an hour and a half to a large unsupervised range in another county. Naw.

    Arvo Ojala rig

Speaking of Arvo Ojala, Skinner Sights is selling a reproduction of Arvo's little circa-1960 booklet for Daisy, "How to Spin a Sixgun, and Secrets of the Fast Draw." It's a fun read, especially if you are a Baby Boomer. ;)

Semi Wadcutter Lead Bullets .41 Magnum

Powder coating is an option that prevents leading with cast bullets.

Let's talk Turkey....as in made in Turkey

That's interesting, SAS. I thought Briley had the contract to do all the Yildiz warranty work. I have had the side-by sides in .410 and 28, and an O/U in .410. Never an issue. Still need to shoot some skeet with the as-yet unfired 28 O/U. I would never compare them to a much higher end gun like...

Color matters! When it comes to EDC / CCW leather belts, holsters and pouches - learned my lessons!

I'll take this advice while searching for a good leather IWB for my all-black CSX - E. Thanks.

The Tisas 1911s have been good to me, too. I can say the same about the Yildiz side-by-side and O/U shotguns sold by Academy.

    Considering a CSX-E

Just picked up my CSX-E 3.1 yesterday and can't wait to shoot it this weekend. I had the original with the trigger re-set issue and loved it, so expect joy from the E series. I, too, am looking at leather IWB holsters including the Galco pictured above and the elegant Ultra Custom from 1791 that...

    Leather IWB for 4 o'clock, CSX E

Very happy to be back in the CSX business. Dang I like this E-series upgrade! Looking for experienced opinions on a leather IWB holster for 4-5 o'clock carry. I find the 1791 Ultra Custom Concealment intriguing. You actually boil it to custom fit the leather to your gun, but it is $100.

    Home Defense Shotguns

The shorty shells run like butter through my Mossberg 88. I had the Opsol adapter first, but have gone to the Defender Tactical.

    RCBS RockChucker -- the Agony

I started with a Lee Loader for 16 gauge in 1969, then an RCBS Junior in 1970. Still have the first cartridge I loaded -- a .30-30 round, Sierra 150-grain FN over a charge of 3031 -- and I crushed the neck. I've had a bunch since then including turrets from Redding, Lyman and Lee and a...

    Bought Another Bodyguard 2.0

Deep: Simply curious why you ordered a second RSA from S&W after buying the aftermarket Galloway. Was there something about it you didn't like?

Copper Coated .22 vs Bare Lead

Anyone ever shoot their tightest groups with anything from Remington?

Concealed Carry Permit. Is This True?

I've been getting those emails too. New Mexico requires a day of classroom and a morning of live fire. Oddly, the gun you qualify with is the largest caliber you can carry once you have your permit. Qualify with a 9 or .357 and you may not carry a .45 concealed.

THE BEST 22LR RIFLE I HAVE EVER SHOT IN MY LIFE!

I have a Winchester Model 75 as well, and need to shoot it. Can't say I am thrilled with the factory trigger, but believe there are solutions.
