just got an email back from s&w, and they have recommended i sent it to them for inspection. i am awaiting the prepaid pre insured shipping label. what is the recommended carrier to ship a firearm with?

my sentiments on the issue exactly. personally, i'm a glock guy so i'm used to my handguns running....period. like i said before, i know when running correctly they are great guns, so i'm willing to give it another chance after inspection and service. i really want to love this gun.

thanks for the replies and insights so far guys. as far as ammo use, i ran wolf steel, aguila brass, and pmc brass, along with a handful of gold dots. had issues across the board so i dont think its an ammo issue, and if the shield is for some reason ammo sensitive i'll be pretty disappointed...
