    Cattaraugus 225Q

I have one that was re-handled by the person who owned it . They called it “trench art”. The sheath has the year the gentleman served and his initials. Knife is in fine shape, except the handle is not to my liking. I have always thought about getting a new handle done by a professional.

They way they cut the steak, the long bone that is attached makes the steak look like a “tomahawk “.

    Oh My?

I have been a FA instructor for most of my LE career, and I continue to train and qualify retired officers with their FA presently(I retired in 2007). I have refused to sign off on some shooters, because I felt they could not demonstrate safe handling skills, and were not proficient enough with...

    CCW gun?

what I am doing and where dictates what gun I will be carrying. Most days it is a Springfield XDS in .45 ACP in a OSWB holster. Spare mag and a model 60 on my ankle with an extra speedloader. A Glock 23 also sees some carry time as well. I am fond of revolvers and I manage to get my model 19...

How Many Have DUMPED their J-Frame for a NEW MINI Semi-Auto?

I have carried a model 60 for over 30 years. My recent carry piece is a Springfield XDS in .45 ACP, but the model 60 is still toted it just rides in an ankle rig or in a pocket. For the times when I am not on a detail the 60 is still my pocket gun.

Which S&W Revolver Do You Carry Most?

During the warmer months I mostly carry a Springfield XDS in .45 ACP, small auto 3.3 inch barrel less than 1 inch wide. I use a "Clip Draw" and a custom OWB leather holster for carry options. In colder months I switch to a Smith model 325 Night Guard in .45 ACP. Carry method is a custom leather...

How many carry "old" 3rd gen pistols?

I carry a 1st Generation model 39-2 on occasion. Functions reliably and is very slim, carries very comfortable. I love the gun, and it still sees time in my carry rotation.

I sent a very old Gerber fighting knife to Bark River Knives for a blade refinishing due to somebody messing up the original finish on the knife. The company did an outstanding job of restoring the original finish, and put a serious edge on the blade for me. Total cost for the work $35 bucks...
