    Kyle, Yes there is a K in front of the serial #. I bought it used and it has a trigger shoe on it. It shoots very well. I'm in the Copper River Valley. Gary

    I'm new to the forum. I have a model 17-2 that i bought in 1969 when I could first buy a handgun. The serial number is 65xxxx any idea on manufacture date? Or where I could look it up?
