The guy he bought it from had it under his car seat. I spent all day yesterday cleaning it. Came out OK but the finish is gone in places around the trigger guard. Wasn't shot much though, so he got a good shooter at a bargain price.
My neighbor just brought over a new gun he picked up today for $250. I thought it was a good deal then I looked at the model #. Its a Blued 686-3??????? As far as I new 686 was SS.
I have a new set of Crimson Trace K and L Frame Round Butt LG-308 Hoghunter Laser Grips that CTC sent me as a replacement for the smaller ones that I had bought for my K frame m 66. They have been to the range once but weren't turned on, it was too bright out. I have since taken them off and am...
Just what title says, I'm looking for a set of Rodgers grips ( bought out by Safariland, then discontinued ) for a J frame RB for my model 60 no dash. I already have one set for my K frame and need to match them.
Frank is great to deal with, the brass was the best once fired brass I've found yet. It truly was once fired, not some junk with grass growing out if it. Thanks Frank.
Looks like you are looking for a light 357 load not +p+. Try using the cowboy loads for 357. There is a lot of them listed and they are easy on the gun and hand. I use Trail Boss for light 357 loads and they shoot fine. Just look at www.Imrpowder.com/data/handgun/trailboss.
Try a lee factory crimp die, it may resize the area that is too large in the neck. The hard cast don't size down very much when crimped. Are you crimping them into the grove in the bullet?
I see someone else is looking for a hammer also for a Model 60 no dash. I want one that is already bobbed or just one I could cut without having to do the original.
