Optics, can vary for these guns. My Ruger M77 was made in 1976 and it sports a fairly popular optic for the time, a Weaver K4W. Someday I may get around to putting another scope on it, maybe not. ;) bob

What I find kind of amazing is that the 220 Swift is still the benchmark for 22 cal varmint/predator bullets. Not bad for a round developed in 1935. :) bob

If it has been sitting for ten years it is probably due for a refurb, call Dillon and I think they will do it for a decent price. I had them do my old 550B and it works as good as new now. Call them to get the price and an RMA and send it off. bob

I wish there were pin matches out here. I have an Austin Behlert prepped 25-5 that works like a champ. It has been round butted, ported and is so smooth. I shoot 255gr hardcast SWC at about 900fps. The few times I was able to shoot pins it moved the pins with "authority". bob

I bet I can tell when and where that was. ;) I think the biggest problem was the fact the police the BIA brought in were members of a traditionally hated tribe to police the ones that really didn't like them. I didn't see a lot of guns while on the Rez but I did talk to our hospital security...
